The new EDGE PRO 2.0 is a game changer when it comes to flat water boards. It glides with crazy ease, turns like a dream, and still handles everyday conditions. This high performance board has a full-cutting nose designed to split the water giving the absolute least amount of resistance possible. The nose volume is also quite high allowing the board to be used in small to mild chop. When pushed underwater the nose immediately pops right back up to prevent any slowing of the board. As water passes from the nose to the midsection, the underside runs into a nice single concave which helps give the rider great stability while putting in the power strokes. The standing area is as low as possible lowering the centre of gravity to its optimal height. The EDGE PRO 2.0 also runs four venturi drains which allow for any water in the standing area to be quickly drained out.

Moving from the midsection to the tail, the bottom shape flows from the single concave into a nice round super-efficient bottom. This then runs into a perfect pintail for the best possible release…

The wings come into play as you step back on the board to turn or if you roll the board hard onto its side edge. When stepping back, the pin tail sinks and engages the wings giving the board a very stable platform to help with turning. The wings also supply great secondary stability making the EDGE PRO 2.0 much more than just a flat water board.

On the top towards the tail, you’ll find the deck ramps up from the standing area quite quickly as this is to make sure when stepping back to kick turn that no water comes over the tail and fills the standing area. The EDGE PRO 2.0 is a board built for speed with unmatched glide and the longer the distance the better it gets.
